The Cream Painted Wall

I was holding my nephew who is only 2 months old and some. He was smiling and I was so happy thinking he was smiling at me because he is learning to smile. But he was not! His eyes were not looking at me. . . they were looking at the cream painted wall! I ask him, "What are you looking at?"

I have noticed that when others hold him, its the same thing, he is smiling at the cream painted wall above of our heads. What is he looking at? What is so interesting about a blank wall anyhow?

Then it hit me. Children are so pure and having just come from heaven, I bet that they can see our guardian angels!! We all have three around us always! And just like anyone, I bet the angels are making faces at the babies to make them smile.

I don't know if this is true, but I would like to think so!
