What I Called Home

I was on the coach on the way to Sheffield and I was watching the trees with their true colors trying to peek thru. I was admiring the beautiful kinda green trees against the different shades of blue in the sky and the perfect white clouds. I love how the colors look so good together! But what I love most, is the vibrant colors of the East Coast, USA!

When I was a kid, we often had long car rides and there was always a road trip in our near future! I remember these days listening to Patsy Cline, just watching the trees pass me by as we were on our new adventure. Then I remember how comforting these trees were when we were on our way home! I loved going on these road trips in the autumn! For hours I could see the beautiful oranges and reds and yellows!

As an East Coast girl, I LOVE autumn!!!!! I love the colors, I'm obsessed with pumpkins and pumpkin picking and pumpkin carving, going thru the corn mazes, going on hay rides, stepping on the crunchy leaves and jumping in the freshly raked piled! Its perfect weather every day with a little chill and a light breeze blowing in your hair as you just wear jeans a t-shirt and your favorite fall jacket!

As I was on my adventure today as an adult, it really made me miss my childhood and what I called home. I really miss Ohio and New Hampshire and my East Coast USA!!!!!!!!! But at least I'm still going on adventures, looking at the trees pass me by!!!!

  1. awww emma you made me miss home too! i love all those things. road trips, crunching fall leaves, pumpkins, i also loved the fall feeling of going back to school, the excitement of new classes, new kids in class, and friday night football games. i totally miss the haunted houses, the hay-ride and bonfire parties and being around people who loved it just as much as you. x
